The Nebraska Ethanol Board’s seven members are appointed by the governor. Each member represents a specific area or interest related to Nebraska’s ethanol industry: Corn, Wheat, Sorghum, General Farming, Business, Labor, and Petroleum Marketers. The board also has three advisors who serve as non-voting members of the board: a technical advisor from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a producer advisor representing Nebraska ethanol producers with an annual cumulative production capacity above 100 million gallons, and a producer advisor representing Nebraska ethanol producers with an annual cumulative production capacity below 100 million gallons.
