Overview

The success of the Nebraska Ethanol Board is thanks to our passionate board members and staff. In 1971 the NEB was established, and our early leaders laid a solid foundation by identifying Nebraska as a golden triangle of opportunity. With easy access to rail, an abundant supply of field corn, and solid markets for a variety of livestock, ethanol facilities began to be built around the state in the late 1970s.

Over the decades, board members and staff have built strong relationships with producers, farmers, elected officials, and industry partners, keeping Nebraska at the forefront of America's ethanol industry. Today, we are proud to say our state is one of the largest producers of ethanol in the country.
