State Requirements

For state-specific requirements in Nebraska, retailers need to refer to regulations set by the Nebraska Weights & Measures. The requirements can be found in the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Handbook 130. See 2.20 Gasoline-Oxygenate Blends on page 130. 

Installation: Ensure labels are positioned prominently and securely. Follow any guidelines or regulations for sticker placement. The label material should also be weather-resistant and durable since gas pumps are exposed to outdoor conditions.

Always ensure that your gas station complies with both federal and state regulations to avoid penalties and ensure consumer safety. As regulations can change, checking with the relevant authorities is crucial for accurate and current information.
