For Ethanol Producers

Training & Safety

The Nebraska Ethanol Board supports training opportunities to elevate the capabilities of our ethanol industry employees.

Tailored Skill Development: We partner with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to offer two workshops annually through the Nebraska Manufacturing Extension Partnership. This is ideal training for those already working in the industry. Nebraska Ethanol Board offers up to half the cost of tuition for eligible Nebraska ethanol employees.

Many training initiatives incorporate hands-on experiences with cutting-edge technologies at UNL's on-site pilot lab. Learn more here.

Environment, Health, and Safety: The NEB hosts the Nebraska Ethanol EHS Committee, a forum for ethanol plant safety personnel to discuss common issues and learn from industry experts. Membership in this committee is limited to Nebraska ethanol EHS professionals and Nebraska Ethanol Board staff. The committee meets quarterly - three times virtually, and once per year in-person for the Nebraska Ethanol Board's annual EHS SummitEmail Ben to join.

Industry Expertise: Learning from the best is the path to becoming the best. NEB hosts events, including the annual Ethanol: Emerging Issues Forum and E15 Workshops, that feature industry-leading speakers and subject matter experts who bring a wealth of knowledge and practical insights to ethanol producers, fuel retailers, and other industry partners.
